What cookies are
They are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are not programs and cannot run anything — they remember something between one click and the next, for example what you have in your cart.
Which cookies we use
Two kinds: essential ones, without which the cart will not work, and Google Analytics analytics cookies — we set these only when you click “I agree” in the banner. There are no advertising or profiling cookies, we do not use the Facebook pixel, and fonts are served from our own server, so even downloading them is not reported to anyone.
| Name | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| woocommerce_cart_hash woocommerce_items_in_cart |
Remember that there is something in the cart, so the cart icon shows the right number of photos. | Until the browser is closed |
| wp_woocommerce_session_* | Links your browser to the cart on the server — without it, chosen photos would get lost on the way to the order. | 2 days |
| PHPSESSID | A technical server session, needed while an order is being placed. | Until the browser is closed |
| wordpress_logged_in_* | Only for people logged in to the site’s admin panel. Visitors do not get it. | Until logout |
| ps_consent | Remembers your answer in the banner, so we do not ask the same thing on every visit. | 6 months |
Analytics cookies — only with consent
The files below are set by Google Analytics and appear only after you click “I agree”. If you choose “Essential only”, they are not stored at all.
| Name | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells successive visits from the same browser apart, so one person visiting twice is not counted as two. | 2 years |
| _ga_418K5F3JES | Keeps the session state for our Google Analytics property. | 2 years |
Your choice of photos in a gallery is also saved in the browser’s local storage (localStorage), so that the selected shots survive a page refresh. This data never leaves your device and disappears when you clear your browser data.
Your consent
The law requires consent for cookies that are not essential to provide the service — which is exactly analytics. That is why on your first visit we show a banner with two equal buttons: “I agree” and “Essential only”. Declining limits nothing; the whole site works the same.
Until you consent, the Google script is loaded but blocked from storing anything (Google Consent Mode) — it neither sets cookies nor reads them from your browser.
Cookie settings — click to change your decision. Withdrawing consent takes effect from the moment you click.
Payments
Payment for photos takes place on the site of the operator Tpay (Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A.), which uses its own cookies on its own domain. Those are governed by Tpay’s policy, not ours — we have no access to them.
How to delete or block cookies
Every browser lets you review, delete and block cookies in its privacy settings. Shortcuts:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Note: blocking essential files will break the cart — chosen photos will not reach the order. The rest of the site, i.e. galleries, the calendar and the forms, will work normally.
